North Pole Series

The North Pole Series, a sub-series of the Heritage Village Collection, is designed with magic and legend providing the inspiration. Bringing to life the activities of Santa and Mrs. Claus and all their North Pole friends, these bright smaller scale buildings often bring a smile and a chuckle when the details are noticed. This is my most extensive collection, with just under half of the 270+ buildings that have been offered and the associated accessories.

One grouping of the North Pole Village Series with 41 buildings and associated accessories is displayed on the Rec Room entertainment center.

(L to R): Frosty’s Sleds & Saucers (2005), Santa’s Castle (2003), Rudolph’s Misfit Headquarters (2003)

Released for the 15th anniversary of the launch of the North Pole Series, these five buildings are each adorned with a weathervane topped by a letter that when put in order spell S-A-N-T-A. The buildings are (L to R): Santa’s Toy Company – Early Release (2004), Alfie’s Toy School For Elves (2004), Nettie’s Mistletoe Manor (2004), Tinker’s Caboose Café (2004), Art’s Hobbies and Crafts (2004)

Here a grouping of accessories spans the narrow gap in front of the TV

Two years later, five buildings whose weathervanes spell out C-L-A-U-S were released to compliment the 15th anniversary pieces. They are (L to R): Candy Cane Corner (2006), Light the Way – Santa’s Beacon (2006), Augie’s Christmas Carols (2006), Ulysses the Christmas Bell Maker (2006), Santa’s Paper Snowflake Studio (2006)

Three more buildings from the main North Pole Series adorn the top of the tall dresser in bedroom #2. They are (L to R): Santa’s Light Shop (1997), Elfin Forge & Assembly Shop (1995), Christmas Bread Bakers (1995)

The largest village display contains the bulk of my North Pole Series collection and is displayed on temporary shelving built in bedroom 2 using wood planks and upside down buckets. It's not elegant underneath but you don't see it, it works, and makes it easy to hide the cords and wiring.
